Huntsville has come a long way in recent years to meet the demand of foodies.
Here are 8 local restaurants new to the food scene in 2018:
Pofta Buna International Cafe
We’re here for the crepes! Happy Tummy moved to another location at Lowe Mill and left their old space vacant for Pofta Buna to move in and grace us with their delicious crepes. Try the vegetarian crepe or the Dracula which has garlic sauce in it.
Baby Bite Bake Shop
Yay for new local bakeries opening in Huntsville! These little bite sized pieces of cake are exactly what you need to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Oshi Poke
Poke bowls have been all the rage in larger cities so it’s great seeing Huntsville join in on the fun with Oshi Poke located at The Avenue in downtown Huntsville. Be adventurous and go for some of the more unique ingredients like squid ink rice and flying fish roe.
Domaine South
Domaine South relocated their quaint little wine shop next to AM Booth’s Lumberyard to their new location in the heart of downtown Huntsville. You can find them on The Square where they have added a menu full of salads, sandwiches, endless charcuterie options, and of course wine!
Good Company Cafe
Good Company Cafe brings a European flair and diverse menu of delicious food and drinks to Huntsville. The fun (and tasty food) doesn’t stop after breakfast and lunch either. Join them Friday and Saturday night for tapas, wine, and live music.
The Martin Bar and Bistro
A new spot for drinks and brunch, The Martin is one of downtown Huntsville’s newest hangouts. Enjoy a meal and drink while catching the game with friends in a cool downtown atmosphere.
Alchemy at The Camp
This is Alchemy’s second location (their first being at Lowe Mill), and the vibe over here is killer! Grab a latte, sit outside (there are heat lamps for the cooler months), and maybe even catch some live music at The Camp.
Cuban Cafe
If you’re looking for authentic Cuban cuisine look no further than Cuban Cafe in Madison. Be sure to check out their gorgeous patio while enjoying lunch, coffee, or one of the many delicious desserts.
