Huntsville Restaurant Week, August 10-19, is a 10-day celebration of the local food scene with over 50 restaurants participating this year.
You’ll find fantastic specials at some of the area’s culinary gems. This is an opportune time to check out some places you’ve been wanting to visit.
You can view the complete list of participating restaurants here, but we’re giving you 8 Huntsville Restaurant Week MUSTS! There are way more than 8 great places, but we had to narrow it down somehow!
8 Spots to Check Out During Huntsville Restaurant Week
Honest Coffee
Honest Coffee is offering a peanut butter mocha and Curious George acai bowl for only $10! These two items are Restaurant Week exclusives that we got to sample during a blogger preview last month. You can read more about it here.
Ale’s Kitchen
Ale’s Kitchen is featuring a really great burger for the week – the Baja bacon burger. Pro tip: If you want to try something else while you are there, they have some of the BEST tacos in town!
Purveyor
What a GREAT time to give Purveyor a try if you haven’t already. $40 gets you an appetizer, entree, and dessert (from a select menu) with entree features like pork chops and shrimp and scallop pasta.
Pizzelle’s
$10 for two soda floats made with their delicious house-made soda and ice cream or their house-made drinking chocolate and ice cream. Pizzelle’s is one of the only dessert spots on the list so it’s an automatic MUST!
1892 East
1892 East is our favorite neighborhood spot for a nice dinner or special brunch. We recommend their $30 dinner special which includes Caesar salad or soup, roasted Springer Mountain Farms chicken breast with mashed potatoes, seasonal sauteed vegetables, and your choice of dessert. The bread pudding and creme brulee are to die for!
Cotton Row
It’s not a Restaurant Week list without mentioning award-winning Cotton Row. They’re offering a $15 lunch featuring pan-seared chicken breast and a $30 dinner special featuring grilled New York strip steak.
Alchemy
If you follow us on Instagram you’ll know we are all about the avocado toast at Alchemy. Their Restaurant Week special features avocado toast, a cappuccino, and small biscotti for only $10! Or you can go the route of their paleo turmeric chicken salad paired with an iced coffee or iced tea.
Earth and Stone
What’s not to love about a $15 lunch special that gets you a small pizza (select few included), salad, and a drink. And then there’s the $30 dinner special featuring a large pizza (select few included), two salads, and two scoops of ice cream. We’re here for the pizza and ice cream.
