We love Asian cuisine for the variety of ingredients and flavors so we decided to share five of our favorite local spots with you.
Filling meals with lots of veggies are what we usually look for, and these are the perfect places to find those familiar dishes or to be adventurous and try something new.
Viet Cuisine
Viet Cuisine is easily our most frequented spot on the list. They offer an unparalleled vegetarian menu featuring some of our favorites like pan fried noodles with tofu and vegan beef. The vegan beef just might be one of our favorite meals PERIOD, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new. They also have amazing banh mi sandwiches that make this a popular lunch spot.
Address: 210 Jordan Ln NW, Huntsville, AL 35805
Haru Korean and Sushi
Haru is our favorite spot for a stone bowl bibimbap with ALL the sides. You get several plates with sides like kimchi, radishes, fish cakes, green beans, and even a cup of soup.
Address: 8760 Madison Blvd, Madison, AL 35758
Big Oh’s
Big Oh’s features Korean fusion cuisine which means you’ll find items on their menu like spicy pork tacos and a classic burger with a Korean twist. We have enjoyed their popular dishes like yakimandu (fried dumplings) for an appetizer and beef bulgogi for an entree.
Address: 121 North Side Square, Huntsville, AL 35801
Viet Huong
Some of the best Thai tea and pho in town comes from Viet Huong. In addition to the pho, we often opt for the clay pot (choose your protein), and we can’t get enough of the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot. Yum!
Address: 930 Old Monrovia Rd NW, Huntsville, AL 35806
Thai Garden
Thai Garden is in our neighborhood, and we are there A LOT. They have great pad Thai, mixed vegetables with rice, and some of the best spring rolls we’ve ever had (you know, those delicious crispy ones!). After your meal, try their ice cream with Thai toppings or the sticky rice with mango.
Address: 800 Wellman Ave NE, Huntsville, AL 35801

These all look delicious!! We’re somewhat new to area and can’t wait to give these places a try.
We have tried Big Bowl Thai and we really like their food and they’re always quick and accommodating. And their kids fried rice comes with a smiley face made out of veggies.
I Korea should be on this list, too!
Hmmmm. No Chinese or Japanese?
What’s your favorite place?
Shinsegae Oriental Restaraunt should DEFINITELY be at the top of this list for a bibimbap!
They are fantastic!!!
