They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we couldn’t agree more.

Here are four of our favorite classic breakfast spots that will make sure your mornings are off to a great start.
4 Favorite Classic Breakfast Spots
Blue Plate
Blue Plate is a favorite of ours that we look forward to having on Saturday mornings.
We can confidently say their hashbrown casserole is one of the best in Huntsville. I’m pretty sure we could eat it as a meal by itself if people wouldn’t look at us strangely. You get large portions here so make sure you go with an appetite.

Edith Ann’s
Edith Ann’s is the place to go for a classic diner experience.
Each time we have visited this popular restaurant it has been packed, but luckily the wait isn’t bad at all. Their omelets are some of the biggest we’ve seen.
Pair it with hashbrowns and a biscuit, and we promise you will not leave here feeling hungry.
Location: 11243 S Memorial Pkwy
Gibson’s
Biscuits!
We recently posted a photo on our Instagram raving about the fabulous biscuits at Gibson’s BBQ, and so many of you agreed. We like to order a side of gravy along with scrambled eggs and of course grits (also known as the #4).
If you’re looking for an extra hearty breakfast we highly recommend adding pancakes to your meal. They are huge and delicious!
Location: 3319 Memorial Pkwy SW
Galen’s
If you’re looking for a classic breakfast in the Five Points area, look no further than Galen’s.
They have all the favorites and also blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes. Yum! We stick with our usual, the California omelet with biscuits and gravy (and of course, coffee).
If you’re really looking to indulge, the Alabama omelet is for you (it’s smothered in gravy!).
Location: 607 Andrew Jackson Way NE
