When we think of fine dining in Huntsville, it’s no surprise downtown is where it’s at.
It’s hard to choose a favorite, so we chose 3!

3 Spectacular Places for Fine Dining in Huntsville
1. Purveyor
Purveyor recently opened their doors downtown at The Avenue last month, and we can confidently tell you it has become one of our favorite spots in town.
From the beautiful wood tables to the carefully curated drink menu (which is inside an old novel), no detail is spared. In addition, their menu is unlike anything else we’ve seen in Huntsville.
- Seafood Corn Dogs
- Bone Marrow
- Duck Chicharrones
- Pulpo a la Parrilla (grilled octopus)
As for entrees, the Shepard’s Fresh Catch has been a favorite of ours, and friends we have dined with have raved about the scallops and short ribs.
Oh, and please save room for dessert!

2. Cotton Row
It seems like each time we’ve gone to Cotton Row it’s been for brunch. But what can I say, they have a phenomenal Sunday brunch. As soon as we saw the French press coffee, we knew it was going to be a great experience. Add Fried Green Tomato Benedict into the mix and it’s all taken to another level. Next time we head to Cotton Row for dinner, the Asian Pork Dumplings and Gulf Red Snapper are calling our name.

3. The Bottle
In our opinion, The Bottle is the kind of restaurant where you want to celebrate anniversaries or Valentine’s Day. It’s truly a special experience with an equally special menu.
It’s not every day that we have venison and scallops, and both were incredible and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we knew we had to try their Triple Chocolate Dome. I mean, how can you turn down a milk chocolate dome, white chocolate mousse, chocolate cake, heirloom popcorn, and hot caramel sauce?
You can’t.
