It’s the most spooktacular weekend of the year at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment with thrills, chills and fun for ghouls of all ages.

Friday
Starting at 4 pm on Friday, Lowe Mill A&E will once again host The Great Pumpkin Carve.
Carvers will compete in 6 different pumpkin carving categories for a chance to win an array of prizes. Contestants are asked to bring their own tools, pumpkins, and a $5 entry fee.
Once carvers are done with their masterpieces, pumpkins will be placed on the dock and voting will begin. Winners will be determined by the public and announced at the end of the night.
Want to smash a pumpkin? That’s $5 as well.
The fun continues with Concerts on the Dock featuring David Davis and the Warrior River Boys. Pack a picnic, or enjoy dinner with food trucks and our on-site restaurants, and tap your toes to the music.
David Davis is a member of the Alabama Bluegrass Hall of Fame. Music starts at 6pm. Concerts on the Dock are always free but $5 for parking is appreciated. Please Carpool!
Also on Friday night, new exhibits will open in the six galleries at Lowe Mill A&E with Art After Hours. From 6pm to 8pm, enjoy light refreshments, meet the artists and see and shop work from Misty Granade, Darius Hill, Kent Ambler, Julie Carpenter, Allen Hutchinson and Cheryl Phelps.
Saturday Afternoon
Dress your little monsters in their costumes and bring them to Lowe Mill A&E for Trick or Treat.
From 1pm to 4pm, trick or treat the halls of the Mill while visiting with artists and makers. The event is rain or shine. Trick or treaters are asked to bring a bag of candy to donate.
Saturday Night
The Most Hallowed Halloween is back at Lowe Mill A&E. This event runs from 8 pm to midnight and is for mature audiences only.
Don your Halloween best and head to the Mill for an evening of frightening festivities. Admission is $15.
Pastor Pervell Price will attempt to collude with the dead and offer them everlasting life in this good old-fashioned tent revival in the East Field with “services” at 8 pm and 10 pm.
Romero’s Wake: pack a picnic and some seating and watch the classic Night of the Living Dead on the East Dock while local comedians riff on the film’s hilarious nuances. It’s a drive-in theatre without the comforts of your vehicle.
BYOB, bring your own body, to the Dance Hall of the Dead. Shake, rattle and roll your bones all night long on the dance floor.
