1. Buskerfest
June 1 – 3
Busking is the art of playing music on the sidewalk for tips. DHI and Arts Huntsville are partnering to bring you BUSKERFEST, freaturing 25 musicians scattered around Downtown.
2. Dining with Friends: Leather + Lace
June 2
Don’t miss the fun at the 19th annual Dining with Friends, at Redstone Harley-Davidson in Madison. Come casual or don your leathers as you mingle, dance, and check out the bikes.
3. Family Camp Out in the Garden

Fun night sleeping under the stars with your family!
Campout activities include a hot dog dinner and a hay wagon ride to the amphitheatre for an outdoor viewing of The Good Dinosaur® Movie followed by star gazing, roasting marshmallows and a night sleeping under the stars. Parent/Child $60; Family of Four $100.

4. 13th Annual Cigar Box Guitar Festival Concerts on the Dock @ Lowe Mill A&E
June 2 – 3
The longest running cigar box guitar festival in the world includes a variety of fun and engaging activities and performances, demonstrations and hands-on workshops, folk art, vendors, food trucks, and more.
5. Breakfast Trolley Tour
June 3, 10, 17, 24
Enjoy a muffin and coffee while touring Downtown Huntsville and the Twickenham Historic District on Saturdays. Tours leave from and return to Alabama Constitution Village.
6. Brickapalooza 2017
June 3 – 4
The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library’s annual Brickapalooza is held at the Downtown Branch and showcases models built by the Tennessee Valley LEGO Club, local robotics teams, and features LEGO and Minecraft activities, games, and crafts. Tickets are $5 a person.
7. Battle of the Food Truck All Stars
June 4 & 16
You can find the Food Truck All Stars on Northside Square in Downtown Huntsville on June 4, then back on Church Street for the 3rd Friday event. Make sure to vote.

8. Concerts in the Park

Arts Huntsville and the City of Huntsville’s Department of Parks and Recreation present the 2017 Concerts in the Park season. The series will showcase a mix of musical genres.
9. Dog Days of Summer: More Dogs, More Fun @ Earlyworks
Starts June 5
Along with the regular EarlyWorks hands-on activities, visitors will experience an exhibit and special programming that will highlight our love for dogs and the historic legacy of famous canines such as Lassie, Rin Tin Tin and Toto from the Wizard of Oz.

11. An Evening of the Blues with Microwave Dave & the Nukes @ Huntsville Museum of Art
June 8
An evening of Southern blues music with Microwave Dave and the Nukes with founding bass player Rick Godfrey and drummer James Irvin. Free for members; $5 for non-members.
12. City Lights and Stars featuring In the Mood @ Burritt on the Mountain
June 9
Huntsville’s in the Mood Big Swing Band is an exciting 21 piece big band specializing in swing and jazz. Tickets at the gate are $15. Admission for children 12 & under is $5.

14. NASA in the Park

NASA Solar System Exploration and NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center will have exhibits, speakers, activities, and NASA merchandise, as well as live music and food trucks!
15. Concert at Three Caves with The Legendary Muscle Shoals Revue
June 17
In the spirit of the esteemed history of Muscle Shoals music, Muscle Shoals Revue will be performing a dazzling array of chart-topping singles. Tickets $35 – $75.
16. Independent Musical Productions presents Ragtime
June 16, 17, 22, 23, 24
Set in the volatile melting pot of turn-of-the-century New York, Ragtime weaves together three distinctly American tales, united by their courage, compassion, and belief in the promise of the future. Tickets $20 – $30.

17. Movies in the Park: Secret Life of Pets
June 23
Folks arrive early to claim a prime viewing spot and enjoy featured entertainment before the movie begins. MIP 2017 includes performances by select musicians from the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra.
18. Hamacon 8
June 23 – 25
Hamacon is a three-day celebration of animation of the Japanese variety. This all-ages convention will host prominent voice actor guests including Micah Solusod, Alexis Tipton, and Aaron Dismuke, as well as featured cosplay guest Go Big or Go Home featured on TV’s Cosplay Melee. $50 for 3-day badge at door, single day tickets start at $20.
