The Rocket Center is continuing the Sci-Quest, Hands-On Science Center’s popular event, which includes live music and a delicious spread of food. Tickets $35.

12. Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll

Over 70 characters ‘come alive’ as you visit their gravesites and hear their stories. One of Huntsville’s favorite events.
13. What’s Up, Doc? The Animation Art of Chuck Jones @ Huntsville Museum of Art

“What’s Up, Doc? The Animation Art of Chuck Jones” is a new Smithsonian traveling exhibition that reveals the creative genius behind some of the most enduringly popular cartoons and animated films of all time.

The final Street Food Gathering of 2016 takes place on the Courthouse Square in Downtown Huntsville.
15. Pro Bono Brews

Benefiting the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program and Free the Hops, Pro Bono Brews is a casual event showcasing premier craft beers from over fifteen Alabama breweries.
16. The Haunt at Three Caves presented by Land Trust and Huntsville Young Professionals

Halloween Costume Party at the very unique venue, Three Caves, that benefits two local not-for-profit organizations. Tickets $30.
17. Rocket City NerdCon

A celebration of all things nerdy, for all ages. If your fanaticism for pop culture, comics, movies, tv, books, games, collectibles, crafting, cosplay, LARPing, etc. borders on obsessively nerdy, this is the place for you!
18. Folklife Festival @ Burritt on the Mountain

A showcase of craftspeople, artists and presenters who will share their knowledge about the traditions, skills, handicrafts and arts of our region during the 1800s and early 1900s. Included in admission.
19. Stars Dancing for HEALS
October 24
Stars from the community dancing with local ballroom instructors to raise funds for HEALS.
20. Bootanica @ Huntsville Botanical Garden
October 29
Put on frightening costumes and come out to the Garden for a ghoulish good time. Games, costumes, hay rides and more. Included in admission.
21. Mercury Rising Chili Fest
October 29
ICS sanctioned chili cook off supported by Free the Hops, includes corn hole, craft beer, kids zone and more. Tickets $15.

The North Alabama Railroad Museum is having our 4th Annual Punkin’ Pickin’ Extravaganza on Saturday, October 15 with departures at 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Every child on board gets to pick a pumpkin from our very own pumpkin patch! The Fall Color Specials, a fall tradition for North Alabama families, will be Saturday, October 29, and Saturday, November 5, with departures at 10am and 1pm. Join the fun!!
