Are you playing Pokemon Go?
(If you’re thinking about jumping in, check out our overview post!)
Catching them all is hungry work, so we’ve compiled a list of some of the best stops for Huntsville’s trainers.

Lures and Deals
Pints and Pixels – Not only are there 2 pokestops (tip: I’ve been told that for at least one, it’s best to sit at the back of the shop to be in range) but they offer tokens in exchange for dropping lures and pay bounties for catching specific pokemon.
Piper and Leaf (the Lowe Mill location) – They are staying well on top of their lures and the benefit extends beyond just their shop. So grab a tea and take your hunt on the go. (I hear they like to hang out in the record shop).
A Cup of Everything – This downtown spot is both next to a pokestop and placing lures. (They’ve also recently added a $5 lunch special making this a great mid-day stop.)
Gyms
Mellow Mushroom in Jones Valley
Straight to Ale (the Leeman Ferry location)
Lowe Mill‘s Water Tower (Grab a meal from Happy Tummy or Chef Will the Palate while you battle.)

Rosie’s Mexican Cantina (the University Drive location)
PokeStops
Charrito’s Bar and Grill in Providence
Casablanca (the Bailey Cove location)
Red Robin (the Bridge Street location)
Events
Homegrown Huntsville Trolley Tour – Sport your team colors and take a trolley tour through downtown, including stops at Lowe Mill and Campus 805 for food and beverages.
Biergarten at the Space and Rocket Center – This free event occurs each Thursday all summer long. Food and beverages are available for purchase, dogs are welcome, proceeds benefit a different charity each week and there are an abundance of pokemon.

Did we cover your favorites? What restaurants are you finding best for Pokemon hunting?
