Our calendar is packed full and new events are being added daily. To give you a start for your summertime fun, here are 15 things to do this summer in Huntsville!
1. Downtown Open
Play over 25 holes of putt putt around Downtown Huntsville.

2. Dog Days of Summer @ Earlyworks
Earlyworks has gone to the dogs with special dog guests, activities and more.
Date: Through end of July
Cost: $12 adult, $10 kid, $5 toddler
3. Houses, Huts & Habitats @ Botanical Gardens
Explore the homes of creatures real and imaginary.
Date: Through end of October
Cost: $12 adults, $8 kids (3-18), under 2 free
4. Summer Smart Play @ U.S. Space & Rocket Center
Try out a working storm shelter equipped with hands-on safety games, experience the shaking created by earthquakes and generate electricity with your own pedal power! And SO MUCH more!
Date: Through July 25
Cost: Adults (13 & up) $23, Children (5-12) $15, Children 4 & under free
5. Whimsical & Woolly Woods @ Burritt on the Mountain
Once again the Historic Park features stories from 19th century children’s literature and for a lively touch, yarn bombing.
Date: Through September 19
Cost: Admission $8 – $10
6. Con Kasterborous: North Alabama’s Doctor Who Convention
Meet a number of people who have worked on the series, including Colin Baker who played the Sixth Doctor.
Date: June 25 – 26
Cost: 2 Day Membership–Adult $60; 2 Day Membership – Child (7 – 13) $30.00; 2 Day Membership – Child (6 and under) free
7. Brats & Brews – and a Little Blues
Plenty of great food and beer for purchase – provided by Straight to Ale, Yellowhammer, and Silver Spoon Catering. Plus brats!

8. Encounters: Dustin Farnsworth @ Huntsville Museum of Art
Farnsworth’s hand-carved figurative sculptures encapsulate the artist’s interests in character, story, craft, mechanics, composition, empathy, and social commentary.
Date: June 26 through October
Cost: $12: Adult, non-member, $5: Children 6 and up & Students, free for members
9. 2nd Microwave Dave Day
Music, food and fun at this family-friendly event.

Cost: $10 suggested donation
10. Movies in the Park
July movie is Raiders of the Lost Ark and the August movie is Aladdin.

11. Stories Under the Stars @ Burritt on the Mountain
Celebrate the longstanding tradition of storytelling. Grab a blanket and some lawn chairs and enjoy the sunset view during an evening of live storytelling and music.

12. Epic Comedy Hour 5 Year Anniversary
Epic Comedy Hour is celebrating its 5 Year Anniversary with 2 nights of comedy.
Date: July 22 – 23
Cost: $10 for show $20 weekend pass
13. 11th Annual Miracle Bash
All proceeds will benefit the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund at Huntsville Hospital Foundation for state-of-the-art equipment.

14. Summer Concerts!
From Concerts in the Park to Three Caves, there are LOTS of live music opportunities this summer.
15. Huntsville Ghost Walk
Every Saturday at 6 pm, departing from Harrison Brothers Hardware. Tickets are $10 adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
