What is Nonprofit University?
Exactly what it sounds like. It’s a one-day training, professional development and peer networking event for everyone from Board members to directors to volunteers of nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit U is June 22 at the Von Braun Center North Hall. Registration is going on now, and is only $60 before June 15.
Broken up into tracks and segments, you’ll only go the sessions that fit your interests.
The brains behind Nonprofit University is the Community Foundation and you should take a few minutes to get to know them. They work hard for all kinds of organizations in our community!
Why Attend Nonprofit University?
Nonprofit U is the largest gathering of nonprofit professionals in North Alabama. Last year there were over 450 attendees from 250 organizations. This year, expect to co-mingle with 500 nonprofit stakeholders!
Nonprofit U is structured for you to get the most out of the day with 10 separate tracks. Those tracks are lead by 25 speakers who are experts on their topics.
Some of the tracks include:
- Board Development
- Grand Writing
- Social Media/Websites
- Volunteer Management
