In contrast to Big Spring Cafe’s tiny burgers are Brickhouses’ monsters. Fulfilling the stereotype of everything American being huge, these behemoths are also flavorful and tasty.

The Sportspage, Little Diner, Mezza Luna, Anaheim Chili, Edith Ann’s, Below The Radar, and 1892 are all local establishments and all have awesome hamburgers!
Excellent list, thanks Jay! I’m forever ordering breakfast at Edith Ann’s, I rarely make it as far as the lunch menu. 😉
I totally forgot AM Booth’s Lumberyard! They have two great burgers: the Skillet Burger, just a simple great cheeseburger, and the Lumberyard Burger, which adds mortadella to the stack!
Their kitchen is staffed by the former Sandwich Farm, so you know the standards are high.
Great post! Steph and I will be trying these places soon!!
Be sure to let us know what you think! 🙂
The Original Public House Tower Berger
Mason Dixon Bakery and Bistro has an excellent grass fed beef burger!
Flat top burgers, trailer mobile. My sister and her husband own it. They make about five kinds of burger and there a all amazing. They are the best kept secret in the south. If you see them eat there you will be on the road looking for them every weekend.
Flat Top Burgers!!! Food truck. Awesome flat top grill burgers!! Can be found some days at Pinhook food Park. Check out their FB page for locations on where to find them. ♡

I cant believe you did not include Peppered Pig ! they are by far the best burgers in town and they have such a unique selection !
Old Black Bear Brewery in Old Madison – Incredible burger: The Taproom Burger, hand-formed certified, local Black Angus patty with all the fixin’s. http://oldblackbear.com/taproom/menu/ (Perfectly paired with their beefy 9% Dark Chocolaty Stout.
Rosie’s Mexican Cantina HWY 72 – Yes, they have great Mexican food, but their Angus burger is one of the best ever. Should note that it is a behemoth of a burger – I took half of it home. Their burger is listed on the menu in the restaurant but not on the online menu.
Try Toxbox Bistro, newly opened on Jordan Lane at Holmes…great hamburgers!
