‘Tis the Season of Giving. And one group of furry individuals needs it more than ever this holiday season.
Huntsville and Madison’s animal shelters work tirelessly year round to help dogs, cats, and other furry/scaly/feathery creatures find homes.
But they can’t do it alone.
Every one of these groups needs kind-hearted individuals to lend a helping hand.
Whether you decide to cuddle with some kittens, donate toys or food, or just purchase some swag in their online stores, every little bit helps our four (or two!) legged friends live a better life.

Please don’t forget about Huntsville Friends of Rabbits!! We are the only rescue in North Alabama solely for rabbits, the third most popular pet in America as well as the third most often surrendered at shelters. We need help just as much as the shelters for cats and dogs, and so often the bunnies are overlooked. We would appreciate any help! Thank you.
Thank you for letting us know and for doing what you do. I had a pet rabbit as a child (who lived a good long life) so bunnies have a special place in my heart.
