1. BLOW UP! Inflatable Contemporary Art

BLOW UP explores the imaginative ways that artists use air as a tool for creating large-scale sculpture and includes imagery that is both figurative and abstract. Accessible, yet rich with meaning, these pieces use the perception of space and unexpected materials to open a dialogue about pop culture and social norms.

3. Rocket City Marathon Health & Fitness Expo

Free and open to the public, this Health Expo includes everything from fitness gear to nutrition tips, health screenings to exercise programs. In conjunction with Rocket City Marathon.
4. Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 70mm IMAX
Opens December 18

5. Celestial Dreams: The Art of Space Jewelry
Open through May
Visit the U.S. Space & Rocket Center for this exhibit of jewelry using precious gems, minerals & metals by artist Kathy Chan.
6. Author Series: Legendary Locals of Huntsville
December 13
Local author, Leslie Nicole Thomas, highlights Huntsville’s iconic citizens. Legendary Locals of Huntsville chronicles the story of the Rocket City!
