Chattanooga Weekend Step-By-Step
Once you arrive, take an evening stroll along the Tennessee Riverfront or head up the hill a few blocks to the River Gallery Sculpture Garden for amazing views overlooking the river.
Reward yourself for making the climb with a sweet homemade treat from Rembrandt’s Coffee House.
Saturday morning head to the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza and shop the River Market featuring local artisans with everything from amazing scented candles to beautiful wood sculptures.
Cool down in the afternoon by walking through the shaded paths of the Chattanooga Zoo. Don’t miss the adorable Red Pandas!
After you have worked up an appetite with all that walking, grab dinner at Big River Grille. Sit outside and watch the High Point Rock Climbers on the OUTSIDE of the building across the street. Don’t forget to grab a growler of one of their signature brews to go.
Sunday morning head over to the northshore and have brunch at the Beast and Barrel Gastro Smokehouse where they cure and smoke their own meats in house. You will know you are getting close when you can do the cha-cha on the sidewalk.
Walk off brunch and buy yourself a weekend souvenir by strolling through Knitting Mill Antiques before you head home relaxed and ready for the week.
