One Thing You Didn’t Know About Sci-Quest
Everyone knows that Sci-Quest is a hands-on science museum for children (though adults love it too). But is there anything about Sci-Quest that you don’t know?
Fun fact about Sci-Quest – they take their educations programs on the road!
Sci-Quest, Hands-on Science Center takes its education programs out into the community all over north Alabama and south Tennessee with its Traveling Science Outreach Program.
In 2008, Sci-Quest started its outreach program reaching 2,000 students that first year.
In 2014, Sci-Quest reached 27,000 students with its outreach program. What’s more, this program serves mostly Title I and rural students.
Sci-Quest visits schools, community centers and libraries.
