Thank you! Residents and visitors alike LOVE the trails (on our Nature Preserves and at the State Park) and that means a lot of wear and tear. The Land Trust has one land steward and a core group of volunteers who maintain 48+ miles of public trails. We very much appreciate folks being part of our Trail Care Crew. Donations also help us replace well-used tools. So please add a bit to the donations boxes each you take a hike or run!
Thanks, Cathie! The Land Trust is such an asset to our community. We LOVE having public trails all over town!
Love Skate Odyssey. Great family time! Tuesday & Thursday 6:30-9:00 $3 per person. Friday & Saturday $8 & free skate rental, Sunday $4 per person. Great clean family fun!
That is an EXCELLENT suggestion Steve! Thank you so much!
Hays Preserve and the Botanical Garden are fun places to visit with family and friends.
My family loves the Terrame Natural Playground at Hays Nature Preserve and the Butterfly House at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. Both are great picks, Helena!
Lowe Mill/Flying Monkey. For a $2 suggested parking donation, you can view and art gallery and listen to a band.
Concerts on the Dock at Lowe Mill are fantastic, Dawn. Make sure you visit Lowe Mill other times, too. They always have amazing things going on.
