It’s the return of Concerts on the Dock, – opening with Clara Belle and the Creeps, along with Serious Sam Barrett and J.D. Wilkes. Family and pet friendly, bring your dogs on leashes, lawn chairs, picnics, dancing shoes and hula hoops. There is a $2 suggested donation for parking.

Alabama Youth Ballet presents Pinocchio & the Blue Fairy/Swan Lake Act II

Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre’s annual production of a fairytale ballet! Pinocchio & the Blue Fairy is an original ballet choreographed by David Herriott. Swan Lake Act II is staged by Keren Gibb Hilliard. Tickets $12 – $16.

Land Trust Board member David Young will discuss the Civil War significance of Trough Springs and, in particular, tell the story of Lt. Col. Milus E. “Bushwhacker” Johnston. Trailhead parking lot is on the right, across the boulevard from Burritt on the Mountain.
