It’s not every day you get to see a Rembrandt painting up close. But at Huntsville Museum of Art, now through April 26, 2015, you can.
I mean you can see it every day, if you wanted to, figuratively speaking.

You might want to!
Rembrandt, Rubens, Gainsborough and the Golden Age of Painting in Europe is on its last stop here in Huntsville before heading back home to the The Speed Art Museum in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Speed is undergoing a multi-year expansion, thus allowing pieces from their renowned collection of masterworks to tour as a group for the first time.
And lucky for us. It’s worth a visit… if not every day, then at least once while it’s here in Huntsville.
The Golden Age
There are 60 important masterworks at Huntsville Museum of Art. You may not recognize all of the names, but you will appreciate these stunning examples of portraits, landscapes, still lifes, religious works and more.
It’s an impressive collection and the Museum has done an outstanding job showcasing it!
