1. Art Exhibits: Images of Cuba

Julia Gary presents Images of Cuba with Silver Gelatin Prints at the Huntsville/ Madison County Main Public Library.
2. Nature Explorers Club
January 3 & 6
NOTE – January 3 event rescheduled to January 10.
The Nature Explorers’ Club is a fun literacy-based nature experience with popular children’s books as the background. Geared for children in Preschool – 4th grade.
3. Huntsville Symphony Orchestra presents Opus Tadpole: Violin
January 3rd
Children have fun discovering the answers to musical questions and more during these entertaining and interactive performances. Grownups may also learn a thing or two!
4. Art Receptions @ Lowe Mill
January 9th
Enjoy a variety of artist receptions spread over the galleries of Lowe Mill.
5. Craft Expo
January 10th
Artists and artisans from Madison County’s craft guilds will present demonstrations and works from their members and will have crafts for purchase.
6. Hike Hays
January 11th
Join Operation Green Team for a guided hike around various areas of the Hays Nature Preserve.
7. Hi-Fi Wedding Fest
January 17th
A curated group of artisan vendors will show Huntsville’s love birds all the possible ways to have an amazing wedding.
8. Teacher Appreciation Weekend
January 17th-19th
The U.S. Space and Rocket Center is proud to salute teachers across the Tennessee Valley for all their hard work and dedication with free admission* to the museum.
9. Drop-In & CREATE
January 24th
Look for the whimsical faces and animals by glass artist Richard Jolley in the South by Southeast: Masters of Studio Glass exhibition then create a “selfie” 3-D artwork using art papers, straws and other materials for embellishment.
10. Rocket City Mom’s Learning Expo
January 31st
Featuring a full day of speakers and entertainment, Learning Expo 2015 will highlight Independent Schools, Magnet Programs, Homeschooling Resources, and Education-Related Businesses and give parents an opportunity to find all the information they need in one place in one day!
