FREE Pop Up Parks
@ Downtown Huntsville, through October 26
Move out the cars and bring in the people! 12 temporary parks will “pop up” in Downtown Huntsville around the Courthouse Square and on Washington Street for 10 days. Saturday features the Pop Up Park Concerts with a roving band from 7 – 9 pm.

Street Food Gathering
@ Church Street, Friday, 6 – 9 pm
Not only is this the FINAL Street Food Gathering of the season, it’s also the kick off for UAH Hockey! Enjoy over 20 food trucks, live music from Denim Jawbones, children’s activity from Huntsville Museum of Art and the Craft Beer Garden at the VBC Propst Arena. Chargers Hockey starts at 7:00 pm.

FREE Rocket City Blast Off
@ John Hunt Park, Saturday, 10 am – 3 pm
Got rockets? Come and blast them at the Rocket City Blastoff. Launch pads will be provided. Everyone is welcome to join in or watch the fun!
Mad Scientist Bash
@ Sci-Quest, Saturday, 5:30 – 10 pm
Grab your lab coat and break out the science beakers for Sci-Quest’s sixth annual Mad Scientist Bash adult fundraiser! The Science Center will transform into a mad scientist’s laboratory for this premier fundraiser to benefit Sci-Quest. Tickets are $30. Read more about the Mad Scientist Bash here.
Specters at the Speakeasy
@ Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, Saturday, 7 – 11 pm
The Huntsville Swing Dance Society invites you to join them as they step back in time to experience the magic of Halloween during the roaring 20s. Enjoy an evening of dancing, entertainment, food and fun. All monies raised during the event will go directly toward purchasing a new dance floor for the Flying Monkey Theater! Tickets are $10 general and $7 students.
