For The Love of Beer is a NEW monthly guide to Madison County’s brewery scene.
The craft beer industry in Madison County has really taken off in the past few years, due largely to the support and encouragement these breweries have received from folks like you.
However, with so many different breweries to visit and beers to try, it can get a bit overwhelming at times!
I hope this monthly guide will help you, a craft beer connoisseur, know how to spend your hard earned beer budget.

Blue Pants taproom offers 10 taps rotating through their various brews and serves some of their additional beers in bottles. They also have a biergarten with an outdoor stage for live music!

We Care Wednesdays
Every Wednesday, during regular hours, Blue Pants partners with a different local non-profit organization and donates $1 from every pint purchased that day. Neon Lilly food truck serves food at the taproom and also donates $1 from each meal purchased.

Rocket Republic has BIG NEWS: They have just secured a lease on a 9,400 sq ft facility in Madison, and build-out has commenced for the production space, tap room and outdoor biergarten!
Located at 289 Production Avenue in Madison, AL (near the big FedEx shipping center), they hope to have it operating by the end of 2014.

Straight to Ale’s taproom pours out of 10 taps and has food trucks on site most nights.
The outdoor biergarten is open each day and will play host to many events this summer and fall. The Biergarten even includes 2 disc golf baskets.

An opportunity for local musicians, poets, writers, comedians, and more to share their talent with willing listeners.
Please have 5-10 minutes of material ready to share with everyone. Sign up starts at 6:00p and performances begin at 6:30p. All are welcome to participate or watch and there will be a food truck on site.
Irish Night

Live music by Jasper Cole, Bourbon and Shamrocks, and more!

What’s New?
International Space Saison Rum (8.25% ABV) – the ISS series, features Straight to Ale’s newly re-formulated Belgian farmhouse ale aged for six-plus months in various barrels.
The rum version is sweet and boozy, with lots of rum, vanilla and oak.
It will be released in late June/early July in bombers and on draft in very limited quantities. Check social media to catch the release date and pick up the bombers at your favorite craft beer store.
Later this summer, look for ISS aged in Tequila and Chardonnay barrels! Brother Joseph’s Belgian Dubbel (8%ABV) in cans!
Available for years in draft format only, one of Huntsville’s favorite Straight to Ale beers will now be canned year-round.
You can currently find Bro Jo in cans at Target, and wherever craft beers are sold. Sand Island Lighthouse is now available on draft at The Lone Goose Saloon and you can now find Monkeynaut at Hooters on Univeristy Blvd.
You can also find 3 taps of Straight to Ale on the draft to-go box, as well as all of their cans, at The Beverage Depot on 72.
The Brew Stooges
