Great Backyard Bird Count

The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual four-day event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are across the continent. The Garden will supply you with a list of birds commonly seen fin February along with color photographs to help you ID the birds on the checklist. Come help us count birds in the Garden!

The Great Cross Country Race or The Hare and the Tortoise presented by Fantasy Playhouse
@Von Braun Center Playhouse, Friday 7pm
On Sports Day, the animals cannot find anybody to compete with the hare in the cross-country race until the slow-moving tortoise agrees to challenge him. The scatter-brained hare gets diverted during the race by his encounters with various humans, while the tortoise plods steadily on to the finish line.
