About Theatre Huntsville
Theatre Huntsville is a non-Equity, non-profit community theatre dedicated to presenting quality productions for the enrichment of the Tennessee Valley community. All shows use local talent for the actors, directors, and crew, who all volunteer their time to work on the shows. Theatre Huntsville is a member of the Alabama Conference of Theatre and the American Association of Community Theatres.

About: The Futrelle Sisters are in trouble again. Fayro, Texas, is in danger of disappearing and folks have been leaving in droves. To woo a salsa factory to town, Honey Raye creates “Fayro Days”, which includes a craft show, a pet costume parade, a beauty pageant and a huge Civil War battle reenactment (with only 15 participants).
So now it’s up to the citizens of Fayro to pull together and save their town. A testament to Southern strength and ingenuity—and a recipe for total hilarity. A laugh-out-loud farce and a stand-alone play in its own right, Southern Hospitality is the third play in the trilogy that begins with Dearly Beloved and continues with Christmas Belles.

Midway through the first act someone gets wind that the famed movie producer, James Todd, is across the street auditioning for roles in his new movie musical, “NUNSET BOULEVARD: A Song from the Hart, about the life of Dolores Hart, the famous movie star who became a nun. The Sisters, thinking they are naturals for parts, race off to audition during their show’s intermission. Will they be discovered find new careers in Hollywood?
