The Madison Arts Council is combining two more of my favorite things in an upcoming event. With Brushes and Brews, you can sample craft beer while flexing your artistic muscle.
The Brushes
This girls night out will feature an 11×14 painting of a beach scene. The class will be taught by Lisa Riccardi, a very talented local artist. Each participant will also get a pint of Blue Pants Brewery beer. It’s the perfect time to sample some quality, local brew while supporting the local arts.
Each ticket costs $30, and that includes your painting supplies, class, and beer. Spaces are limited, so don’t wait! Right now, there are only 16 tickets left.
The best part is, you don’t need any painting experience to enjoy Brushes and Brews! With Lisa’s instruction, you’ll take home a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The beer only helps bring out your most creative side.
The Beer
Unless you live under a rock, you know that Madison County is home to several breweries. (Just in case you have, check out this directory of local breweries Our Valley Events created).
And luckily for us, they’re really amazing! One of those breweries, Blue Pants, is in Madison. Right now, they have 11 beers on tap at the brewery, including new beers and experimental small batches.
The thing I love about Blue Pants is seeing how the beer is made while enjoying the end-results in the taproom. There’s nothing quite like drinking a delicious craft brew in the same place where it was made.
