From Palaces to Pirates
Location: Burritt on the Mountain
Times: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Extended day option and Flexible schedule options available
This year’s spring break camps at Burritt on the Mountain are inspired by The Whimsical Woods, their special feature in 2013. Each theme comes from one of their Whimsical Wood’s stories. Children will enjoy exploring, hiking trails, as well as playing active, outdoor games and creating fun, unique crafts based on each camp’s theme.

Geology in My BIG Backyard
Location: Huntsville Botanical Garden
Time: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Extended day option and Flexible schedule options available
Did you know that geology is a lot like detective work? Geologists infer the sequence and timing of events by collecting evidence and making observations, just like a detective. At Huntsville Botanical Gardens Spring Break Camps, your student will combine indoor and outside activities to expose them to their new-found geologic interpretation skills- all while having fun!

An Experiment in Fun
Location: Sci-Quest
Time: 9 a.m. to Noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Extended day options available
Offering a variety of camps from Campasaraus, Hard Hat Crew, Meatballs and Molecules, and A Knights Quest and more, Sci-Quests Camps are an Experiment in Fun! Your children will enjoy discovering, learning, creating, and even cooking in these week long, fun-filled camps.

Space Day Camp
Location: US Space and Rocket Center
You’ve heard of Space Camp, but did you know that the U.S. Space and Rocket Center offers Day Camps for your child to enjoy? This spring break, send your child away just for the day to Space Day Camp where they can run a “skybase” mission, perform hands-on astronaut experiments, and learn about living and working in space.
The U.S. Space and Rocket Center also offers Aviation and Robotics Day Camps during Spring Break, however they are already full for the 2013 season. Check them out for the summer or book early for next Spring Break!

YMCA: School Holiday Camp
Location: YMCA
Time: Available 7 a.m to 6 p.m.
The YMCA’s Spring Break Camp will feature a week full of games, crafts, swimming, sports & a field trip featuring an extreme outdoor theme. Camp is open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm for children in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Spring Break Camps are available at both the Southeast and Hogan Family YMCAs.
