My Grandmother. Travis Howard’s Brother. Kyla Kelly’s Sister Rachel. Your Aunt. Your Mom or Dad. Even your Child. You know someone who has been impacted by Leukemia, Lymphoma or Hodgkins Disease.
And this little girl. This is Ava Campbell, and she is struggling with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, but she is fighting to win. She is a treasure, and it just isn’t fair that she has to endure what she is going through right now!
Early Halloween
Tuesday Night from 5-7PM at Progress Bank on Williams Avenue Downtown, we are kicking off Halloween a week early and raising money so that little girls like Ava and Kyla’s sister Rachel don’t have to go through the horrors caused by these debilitating cancers.
Bring your families out for some Trick or Treating car trunk style. Each creatively decorated spot will be giving away candy to little ghouls, pirates, monsters, and super heroes, AND requesting your donations by voting on the most creative trunk with your dollar votes!
We’ll have food and drinks as well. Thanks to Star Market and Straight to Ale for sponsoring! Thanks to you guys for doing your part!
Little Ava just had a round of Chemo last week, but The Campbells are planning on coming if she has a good day tomorrow. Come hear her story and share some good times with us and get that good feeling that comes with giving back.
Light the Night
Also, support Leukemia and Lymphoma Society further by joining us Thursday night at Bridge Street from 5-9pm for the Light the Night Walk. The walk itself starts at 7, with registration and donations accepted prior. Live music, food, and a trail of shining balloons make this a memorable way to support their mission.
