One of my favorite September events is the Land Trusts’ Annual Moon Over Three Caves Dance! I love the atmosphere and scenery and the food and the music and silent auction!!! My sweet husband loves that he gets to go to a fundraiser outside with gorgeous caves and he can wear shorts!
Setting the Scene
The 13th Annual Moon Over Three Caves Dance presented by ValleyMLS.com and Servis1st Bank will be held on Saturday September 15th from. The event site is a former limestone quarry called Three Caves located at the foot of Monte Sano Mountain.
And let me tell you, this is an amazing site! If you haven’t been to one of the Land Trusts’ concerts, you are missing out. (Did you even KNOW that we had a giant cave in the middle of Huntsville?!)
Gorgeous professional lighting from 4Wall Lighting (formerly TLS, Inc.) creates a magical atmosphere in the quarry for this special night! Carrabba’s Italian Grill, courtesy of Green Metals, Inc., will provide dinner and popular local band “JUICE” will entertain, courtesy of Lockheed Martin.
Attire is “Cave Casual” – jeans and tennis shoes.

Go Green Auction
Guests will help preserve greenspace by bidding in a silent auction, sponsored by Yulista Aviation, Inc.
“Our upscale silent auction will again be ‘Keepin’ it Green’ by featuring ten large rain barrels painted by local artists. In keeping with our moon theme, artists include a moon in their design. These much-anticipated works of art are presented for the fourth year by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama” said Moon Dance Chair Charlotte Spear.
