The Niña and Pinta
@ Ditto Landing, September 26-October 7
From September 26 until October 7, you have the opportunity to step on board Niña, the most historically accurate replica of a Columbus Ship ever built. Niña, and her sister ship Pinta, tour together as a ‘sailing museum’ for the purpose of educating the public.
While in port, you are invited to visit the ships for a walk-aboard, self-guided tour. The ships are open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No reservations necessary.

Concerts on the Dock

Great weather is predicted so this is sure to be a fantastic night out! Concerts on the Dock is a family friendly event that is FREE from 6-9 p.m. every Friday in September and October. Feel free to bring your dogs on a leash and food, drinks, blankets and chairs. Donations are accepted. Parking is limited (and $2 this season), so please carpool folks!

In the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, who offer free admission everyday, Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket… for free. Local participating museums include Sci-Quest, the US Space and Rocket Center, and the Veterans Memorial Museum. Visit the Smithsonian website to print off your FREE pass and for more information! Note: for free entry you must present a ticket from the Smithsonian website.

Magic + Comedy = Fun!
@ Burritt on the Mountain’s The Whimsical Woods, Sunday 2:30pm
The Whimsical Woods is closing with a bang! Join Burritt on Sunday afternoon for a Comedy Magic Show, balloon animals, face painting and giant bubble making. The magic show will start at 2:30 in the Trillium Room with Russell Davis. He will wow you with his magic and have you laughing out loud! (Adults too!) Call 256-536-2882 for more information. Groups of 10 or more will need to make a reservation and prepay. Seating is limited.
