Rocket City Nerdcon
@ Huntsville Madison County Public Library Main, Friday, 4 – 10 pm & Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm
Crazy about comics? Gaga about gaming? Feverish about a fandom? Whatever gets your geek on – anything from “Doctor Who” to “My Little Pony” – celebrate it at the inaugural Rocket City NerdCon. Vendors will sell comics, costumes, decorations, jewelry, and other cool stuff. You can dine on food-truck fare and hear local band Foot Pound Force. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. The Haunt at Three Caves
@ Historic Three Caves, Friday, 7 – 11 pm
Halloween is upon us and if you’re a young professional there is only one place to celebrate: The Haunt at Three Cave. Besides being a ton of fun, this event benefits two great local organizations, the Huntsville Young Professionals and The Land Trust of North Alabama. Read more about The Haunt at Three Caves here. Tickets are $25 for a single, $60 for a couple or $120 for a four pack.
Pizza Party Massacre

Lowe Mill’s official Halloween party, The Pizza Party Massacre reheats this year bigger and better! Enjoy performances from your favorite Human-A-Matronic rock band the Rock-O-Dream Supreme with The Pizza Party Massacre part 2: ‘The Revenge of the Saucitron. This is a “Showbiz Pizza/Chuck E. Cheese” style family fun night out gone wrong. Come for the fun, and stay forever, and don’t forget to Eat The Pizza! Tickets are $10.

International Heritage Festival
@ Burritt on the Mountain, Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm
The International Heritage Festival will include cultures from many different countries, Native Americans and early settlers. This is an opportunity for you to experience diverse cultures through music, dance, food, crafts, and history. This day will include ethnic dancers, musicians, and crafts, artifacts and displays from different countries. International foods will be sold for lunch from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, 5 tickets for $6. Festival is included in admission to Burritt on the Mountain.

Huntsville Ballet presents Firebird
@ VBC Playhouse, Friday, 7:30 pm, Saturday, 2 & 7:30 pm & Sunday, 7:30 pm
While wandering in the gardens, Prince Ivan sees and chases the illusive Firebird. The Firebird, once caught, begs for its life and ultimately agrees to assist Ivan in exchange for eventual freedom. This exciting and visually rich production is a treat for the whole family this Halloween weekend.
