FREE Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll
@ Maple Hill Cemetery, Sunday, 2 – 4:30 pm
Costumed volunteers will share the stories of over 65 notables, both famous and infamous, who shaped the future of Huntsville and Alabama. Included are five Alabama Governors, soldiers from past wars, artist, poet and writer Maria Howard Weeden, the notorius madam, Molly Teal and Tallulah Bankhead visiting her parent’s graves. This is an invitational group exhibition to showcase the work of noted American glass artists in our region and is presented alongside Ginny Ruffner.
#3 The Red Clay Survey
A major recurring regional competition that “takes the pulse” of contemporary Southern art every two years through a selection of work in all styles and media.
