Galaxy of Lights is a holiday light extravaganza featuring larger-than-life animated light displays, including a twinkling icicle forest. Galaxy of Lights is the perfect holiday treat for the young and young-at-heart and walking nights are the best way to experience it. Admission: Adults $6, Children (3+) $3 (discounts for members).

In a first of its kind gathering, 5 Educational YouTube video creators join together in the Rocket City for a night of panel discussion, Questions and Answers, Presentations, Demonstrations, and a Meet and Greet. Guests include: Henry Reich from MinutePhysics, C.G.P Grey, Brady Haran from Numberphile, PeriodicVideos etc., Derek Muller from Veritasium and Destin Sandlin from Smarter Every Day. Tickets are $42.

HAMACON Mini Con 2014
@ VBC South Hall, Saturday, 10 am
Billing itself as “All the fun of a three day Con squished down into one day”, the Mini Con will host panels, events, movie screenings, and gaming that will run continuously until the Con closes with a dance party. Cosplay will be a key component of the Mini Con again this year, and attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite cosplay and come see and be seen. Tickets $25.

Merrimack Hall’s 2nd Annual Fashion Show

The second annual Fall Fashion Show will showcase students from the Johnny Stallings Arts Program modeling the latest fashion trends. The show will also feature performances by the adults from the Day Connection Program and Project Up Students. Tickets are $20.
