It’s a summer of fun with the opening of “Summer Smart Play!” Try out a working storm shelter or experience the shaking and sounds created by earthquakes and generate electricity to produce light with your own pedal power! Included in museum admission.

Rocket City Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing

Feuding lovers, mistaken identity, a dastardly plot, and a bumbling police force… it’s Rocket City Shakespeare’s latest production. Tickets are $5 students/ $6 general advance. $12 at the door.

FREE Hike a Hound
@ Monte Sano State Park, Saturday 5/21, 10 am – 2 pm
Come “test hike” an adoptable dog on a short trail (accompanied by a shelter volunteer). Homeless dogs looking for loving homes, they’ll show off their walking skills & outdoor fun! Adoption fees discounted.

We need to have some events for seniors. Not everybody has children and like to sit on the grass. We need more senior events–things that are easy for seniors to get to and participate in.
