Thinking about exercising? Healthy Huntsville’s free fitness classes continue each Saturday throughout the month of June in Big Spring Park East. Classes are held at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. and include one aerobic class and one low-impact class.

Burritt on the Mountain/ The Whimsical Woods: Sleeping Beauty and Max the Maxnificent!
@ Burritt on the Mountain, Sunday 2-4pm
Almost each Sunday through the summer The Whimsical Woods is featuring a special event. This Sunday, June 9th, there are two! At 2:00 pm the Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre will be at the Woods to perform highlights from Sleeping Beauty.
Then, at 3:00 they will be visited by Max the Maxnificent! The Polka Dot Pyrenees is the first book in a series of books created by World of PawsAbilities. “These Mutts are on a Mission!” to help raise the next generation of responsible animal ambassadors through education, entertainment and community outreach. The real life Max will visit along with the authors, Dianne Burch and Michael Fredrick, to read their new story and let you meet Max. There will be time for petting Max and asking pet care questions. There may even be time for a quick game of “Tick-Cat-Dog™”-an animal based question/answer version of tic-tac-toe.
