It’s Thursday… Here are this weeks 5 Things to do This Weekend for Huntsville!
25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
@ Von Braun Center Playhouse, Friday & Saturday 7:30pm and Saturday 2pm
A quirky yet charming cast of outsiders discover that a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time in this performance. Six young people, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. Dr. Conundrums’s Cabaret of Miracles
@ The Flying Monkey Arts Center, Friday 8pm
Dr. Conundrum’s Cabaret of Miracles is NOT your “kiddies” magic show! The mad Dr. Conundrum will blow your mind with his baffling brain skills and medical mumbo-jumbo. Hans, the bi-polar man-child, will channel the spirit world, making unusual objects float, move or transmogrify. All the while, this dysfunctional duo will make you laugh until you hurt. While there is no nudity (what a relief!) it is rated PG-13.
