Epic Comedy Hour

Need some laughs? Epic Comedy Hour has an excellent show lined up for you this month. The show is at the Flying Monkey theater at the Lowe Mill, where it’s always BYOB and only $7. Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8-ish. If you want a good seat, remember to get there early! There are no pre-sales, and if you’re saving some seats for some friends, you have to pay for their admission.
Women’s Self-Defense Seminar
@ Claymore Krav Maga & Fitness, Saturday 12pm
Women- learn how to avoid being targeted by predators, how to develop awareness and good safety habits, and how to defend against common attacks using your natural weapons. This is also perfect for getting college students prepared for going back to school!

Instant Karma Reunion
@ Straight to Ale, Saturday 8pm
Originally formed in 1985, Instant Karma played throughout the Southeast, performing at fraternity and sorority parties, high school proms, bars, restaurants, pubs, festivals, and many other public and private events. After the original lineup broke up in 1986, the group reformed with new members, continuing until finally disbanding in 1988.
