Kris Kringle’s Candlelight Christmas

@ Burritt on the Mountain, Friday 12/1 & Saturday 12/2, 5 – 8 pm

The star-lit mountain will be mirrored by more than 600 candles. Music will be heard throughout the mansion and the park; cider, cookies and tasty figgy pudding will keep you warm. General Admission applies for non-Burritt members, and $2 admission for members.

FREE  Madison Lantern Parade

@ Downtown Madison, Friday 12/1, 5:30 pm

This fun and festive event is for residents 12 years of age and younger. Participants will meet at Old Black Bear then parade down Main Street with their lanterns, to the Christmas Trees on the west end of Main Street. As they reach the trees, they will officially light-up!

Alabama Youth Ballet invites you to come enjoy Nutcracker: A Yuletide Ballet. Children will be amazed at the Sugar Plum Fairy and parents will delight in the classic battle between Clara and the Nutcracker against the Rat King. Tickets start at $14.

Yule Y’all: Christmas Market & Whiskey Tasting

@ Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, Saturday 12/2, 2 – 8 pm

Yule Y’all: modeled after a European Christmas Market but with a Southern twist. Featuring more artists and makers than Santa has elves, Yule Y’all will offer something for everyone. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event.
