2. ALABAMA with Exile

Over 50 years ago, Jeff Cook, Teddy Gentry and Randy Owen left the cotton farms of Fort Payne, Alabama to spend the summer playing music in a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina bar called The Bowery. It took them six long years of tip jars and word-of-mouth to earn the major label deal they’d been dreaming of. Then, seemingly no time at all to change the face of country music. ALABAMA, country music’s first band, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
3. End Addiction Walk

Not One More Alabama, a non-profit organization based in Huntsville, is hosting its 8th Annual End Addiction HSV Walk at Big Spring Park Saturday, August 23 from 9 -11:30a.m. This annual community event presents an opportunity for anyone impacted by the disease of addiction to connect with others who have walked a similar path.
4. Phat Jam
Date: Satruday, August 23
Time: 6:00pm – 10:00pm

12 bands of all genres, as well as comedians, poets, magicians, and more in between the bands. We also have DIY vendors during the event. 4 hours of non-stop entertainment for $12. The first half is family friendly. Food trucks and drinks on site.
5. Art Tour of Homes
