5 New Huntsville Restaurants Coming SOON!
Chuy’s
What: A tex-mex style restaurant that started in Austin, TX in 1982. Their first location outside of Texas opened in Franklin, TN in 2009. This quirky restaurant features an eclectic vibe and signature menu items like the Chuy’s Big As Yo Face Burrito and stuffed chile rellenos.
When: Spring 2019
Where: Merchant’s Square: 935 Bob Wallace Ave. SW., Unit 101
Melt
What: Melt started in Birmingham as a food truck in 2012 and opened its first brick and mortar location in the Avondale neighborhood in 2014. Melt features a modern twist on classic comfort foods such as grilled cheese, burgers, and chicken sandwiches.
When: Spring 2019
Where: The Avenue in Downtown Huntsville
Fresko Grille
What: Modern Mediterranean cuisine featuring falafels, chicken shawarma, and fresh hummus, as well as create your own wraps and bowls. Fresko Grille will be part of the Food Garden at Stovehouse.
When: Spring 2019
Where: Stovehouse: 3414 Governors Dr. SW
Bad Daddy’s
What: Bad Daddy’s opened their first location in Charlotte, NC in 2007. This burger bar features bison, tuna, turkey, chicken, and black bean vegetarian burgers. Create your own or pick one off the menu. Local beers and signature cocktails will also be available.
When: Fall 2019
Where: Times Plaza located at 2317 South Memorial Parkway
Super Chix
What: Super Chix is a small Dallas, TX based restaurant chain featuring breaded or grilled chicken sandwiches, salads, hand-cut fries, and daily-churned frozen custard. They even take care of the vegetarians with a crispy avocado stuffed with melted gouda cheese, garlic aioli, lettuce, and tomato. We also spy a Nashville hot chicken sandwich on the menu!
When: Summer 2019
