Let’s be honest, traffic throughout most of Madison County after 5:00 pm on a weekday is no fun.
One side-effect of all of the terrific growth Huntsville has seen in recent years is the headache of the evening commute.

It can be really tough to go out on a weekday, but thankfully we have a number of spots on many of our main traffic arteries that offer a great night out right on the way home.
Some of them even offer some discounts on weekdays, making the deal even sweeter!
4 Huntsville Spots For a Night Out After Work
Campus 805
Chances are you’ve probably already taken advantage of the local craft breweries and laid back vibe at Campus 805.
If your workplace is near Central Huntsville, you already know that this has quickly become one of the hot spots in town, with local breweries Yellowhammer and Straight to Ale calling it home.
It has also become a great go-to spot for a bite to eat. Popular choices include Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza, Rock and Roll Sushi, and many others.
With so many spots to choose from in one walkable location, Campus 805 is one of Huntsville’s perfect after-work hangouts.
Wish You Were Beer
If you’re looking for one of Madison’s favorite spots for a quick drop by after work, look no further than Wish You Were Beer. It has a great selection of brews from all over the globe.
Wish You Were Beer offers two locations, one on Highway 72 in Madison and the new place at Campus 805 in Huntsville. The Madison location remains the popular spot for commuters as a hip watering hole after work.
While you’re at the Madison location, also give Pho 89 a try, it’s right next door!
Casa Blanca
With so many Casa Blanca locations readily available throughout Madison County, it’s almost impossible not to drive past one on the way home from work. This local Mexican restaurant chain offers an extensive menu and, often, drink specials on weekday nights.
After a margarita, you’ll quickly discover why it’s one of the best spots to meet up with friends after work!
Bar Louie
While it can often be a bit loud and overbearing for a relaxing night out, Bar Louie offers deep discounts on weekday evenings.
Right on the corner near the parking deck at Bridge Street, this trendy bar offers a long list of beers, as well as a traditional grille menu. Monday through Thursday, many of their appetizers are half off, and they even offer $2.50 craft beers on Wednesdays.
