With so much happening in the neighborhood lately, it’s easier than ever to have a fun-filled late-night weekend.

The walkable blocks around the Courthouse Square and along Washington Street make it simple to have a great night with a date, or friends.
With that in mind, here are four of our favorite spots in Downtown Huntsville to hit up on a late weekend night.
4 Favorite Huntsville Late Night Hot Spots
Pints & Pixels
Pinks & Pixels has quickly become the go-to place for fun in Downtown Huntsville. Just a few bucks will buy a drink and a few rounds of pinball and video games, which is a great way to kick off an evening.
If you’re looking for a fantastic way of hitting it off with a date or new friends, try some of the multiplayer arcade games like The Simpsons or Ninja Turtles, or the giant four-player Pac-Man table.
Voodoo Lounge
Trendy bars in Huntsville come and go through the years, but Voodoo’s space downstairs on the Southside Square remains one of the best places to drop in for a drink or snack.
Along with all of the bar fare and character to be offered, Voodoo also boasts a super intimate music venue that will get you more up close and personal with local artists than just about any other spot in Huntsville.
Big Spring Park
No late night in Downtown Huntsville is complete without a walk down the steps from the Westside Square to the easternmost part of Big Spring Park.
The colorful LED lighting sprayed across the waterfall along with the friendly ducks that call the park home make for a super chill way to end the night. It’s also a great landmark to meet up with other groups or other friends if you’re up for more.
Waffle House
Awake and not quite ready to call it a night? There’s always the late night standard that hardly anyone will argue against, especially if it’s past Midnight.
The Waffle House location on Pratt Avenue is typically full of like-minded individuals on the weekends, and as a bonus, it’s only a short walk away from Five Points if there are other late-night shenanigans to be had.
The food fare won’t really matter at this point in the night, but you can’t go wrong with a big plate of hashbrowns and all of the extras thrown on top of it.
While these are just four of our favorites, we know that there are tons of other great options available as well.
What are some of yours?

Kudos to the author of this article. “Like-Minded” is the best euphemism I think I’ve ever read. I laughed hard remembering all the like-minded people I’ve seen late night at the Waffle House. You should write real estate advertisements.
