5. Dr. Temple Grandin presented by Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center

6. The Rocket City Latin Festival

The best latin dancers in the world will be in Huntsville for three nights to perform, teach, and social dance. Tickets $20 – $120.
7. Downtown Huntsville TechTour

3rd Annual Downtown Huntsville TechTour allows you to meet the innovators behind several leading Downtown Huntsville-based tech companies and tour the creative spaces in the city center that their companies call home. $17.
8. UCP An Irish Evening

This casual, charitable St. Patrick’s Day event will feature samples of Irish-themed food and drinks from a variety of local vendors, live performances by Bourbon & Shamrocks and the Fitness Arts Center Irish step dancers, a kids’ area.
9. Spring Showers @ Huntsville Botanical Garden
Opening March 10
Hundreds of vibrant umbrellas will float above the greenery, trails, and turtles of the Purdy Butterfly House at Huntsville Botanical Garden.
10. Treasure Hunt at Gold Mountain @ Burritt on the Mountain

Experience the Alabama Gold Rush of 1829 as you play on the stagecoach, shop in the General Store for provisions, build a cabin out of child-size faux logs, pan for gold in the sluice, and much more.

40th Annual Ellen McAnelly Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade presented by the Irish Society of North Alabama in Downtown Huntsville.

The Art of Seating offers a fascinating historical survey of artistic, technical and engineering developments in American decorative styles. The exhibition includes more than 40 distinctive chairs selected from the Jacobsen American Chair Collection.
16. A Painter in the Orchestra: Copland on Canvas presented by Huntsville Symphony Orchestra
March 26
Local artist Pamela Willis is well-known for her sensitive landscape and abstract paintings, will collaborate with the HSO to interpret Copland on canvas, letting the music inspire her artistry in real time.
