1. Downtown Huntsville Ink

Green Pea Press will be printing one of a kind t-shirts directly from the decorative manholes in Downtown Huntsville.
2. FREE August Drive Thru Concert
August 4
Enjoy the music of the 90’s at the “retired” drive-through of the Regions Bank parking garage.
3. Miracle Bash
August 4
Held at Huntsville Botanical Gardens, you’ll enjoy a buffet dinner, a fabulous silent auction, and live music! All proceeds will benefit the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund at Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
4. Women in Jazz Festival
August 5
Event artists include Freda Payne, Paula Atherton and BJ (Bettye Jo Miller) Blues/Jazz and supports youth in music and women in music for the specific purpose of Valley Arts Music Scholarship Program and the jazz program.
5. Rocket Chef
August 7
The chefs’ cooking ability will be tested in a time-pressured environment using “mystery” ingredients on stage in front of a live audience of nearly 300 people and three well respected culinary judges!
6. Fireside Music Festival
August 9 – 12
A new music festival featuring 4 nights of music at the new Camp at MidCity grounds (former Madison Square Mall location).
7. Huntsville Restaurant Week
August 11 – 20
Annual, 10-day celebration of the best in Huntsville/Madison County dining and a part of Alabama Restaurant Week. Focusing on locally owned & operated eateries.
8. FREE Friday Night Art Walk
August 11
Enjoy art vendors all around the Downtown Huntsville Square.
9. City Lights and Stars featuring Mo’ Sol @ Burritt on the Mountain
August 11
Final City Lights & Stars of the year at Burritt on the Mountain featuring the energetic brand of Motown, funk, soul & hip-hop of Mo’ Sol.
10. Dino Extinction Party and Carnivore Cookout @ Huntsville Botanical Garden

12. FREE Southern Author’s Expo
August 19
The Southern Authors Expo offers the opportunity to connect authors and readers and for aspiring authors to meet others like themselves. The expo will have speakers and panels throughout the day.
13. Bicentennial Beer, Bourbon, BBQ
August 19
Six beer and bourbon tastings from 2 local breweries and 2 local distilleries, BBQ with all the fixin’s, music, home life and crafts, circa 1817–open pit cooking, blacksmith, displays, and more.
14. FREE Twickenham Fest – Bach by Candlelight
August 25
An All-Bach salon, lit primarily by candles. Repertoire to be announced from the stage. Seat registration is recommended to secure your attendance. Concerts often fill to capacity.
15. 15th Annual Parrots of the Carribean
August 26
Madison’s premier beach party. Live Music, dancing, raffles, auctions, food, and beverages.
