#1: Black History Month Events at the Library
What: Huntsville-Madison County Public Library celebrates Black History Month with a month of events. Events include panels, , concerts, kids events, book discussions, and more.
When: The month of February

#2: Going to the Stars- Is it Possible?
What: Is interstellar flight possible? At this free public forum, spend an evening with some space visionaries and talk about the dream and challenges of going to the stars. The event will be moderated by Les Johnson of NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.
When: Tuesday, February 5th at 7 pm
Where: Calhoun Community College Huntsville Campus
#3: Grissom High School Theatre Presents Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
What: Join Grissom High School Theatre for an adventure with Charlie and his Grandpa Joe. They take a daring trip into Willy Wonka’s fantastical chocolate factory, filled with Oompa-Loompas, squirrels, chocolate rivers, and cotton candy dreams.
When: February 7th-9th

#4: Jennifer Daniels + Straight to Ale
What: The Folk Mission hosts intimate, monthly “listening room” concerts with world-class folk/ blues/ acoustic singer-songwriters, in an earlier-evening, smoke-free setting. Their Feb. 9th show features Jennifer Daniels and the house will be packed. Arrive early for dinner & beer!

Where: Straight to Ale Brewery
#5: Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild
What: Jack Hanna is recognized around the country as America’s favorite zookeeper. Jungle Jack’s live show features many of his favorite animal friends, as well as fascinating and humorous stories and footage from his adventures around the world. Audiences give Jack rave reviews and everyone from the youngest child to the oldest adult is entertained and inspired. Presented by Broadway Theatre League.
When: Sunday, February 10th at 3pm

#6: Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra
What: Imagine the Rat Pack hosting “A Prairie Home Companion” show on the “Austin City Limits” stage. Shake it all up, add an olive, and you have Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra and it is one unforgettable evening at Merrimack Hall!
When: February 14-16 (with Valentine’s Day packages)

#7: We Will Rock You- The Music of Queen
What: Classic rock meets orchestra when the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and the musicians of Jeans ‘n Classics present the familiar and delightful greatest hits of the super 80’s band Queen.

#8: Seussical the Musical
What: The magical world of Dr Seuss is brought to life by The Academy for Academics and Arts in this fantastical, musical extravaganza and it is going to be fun for the entire family!

#9: Sci-Quest Rocket Day
What: 3, 2, 1…blast off! Join Sci-Quest as they celebrate National Engineering Week with what else – rockets! Learn how rockets work by building and launching your own water rocket!
When: Saturday, February 23, 10:30 am

#10: Huntsville Community Chorus presents Bard to Blue Notes
What: Join the Huntsville Community Chorus for a fantastic evening blend of poetry and blues. Featuring the sounds of the Huntsville Community Chorus Symphonic Chorus, the Watters-Felts Project, Children’s Chorale, and the Youth Chorale.
When: Saturday, February 23, 7:30 pm
Where: Trinity United Methodist Church Sanctuary
