UCP’s 18th Annual An Irish Evening
@ Huntsville Depot Roundhouse, Friday 3/11, 6 – 10 pm
Featuring Irish and International food and beverage samples from local vendors, $25 general admission tickets, Celtic entertainment, and casual attire (wearin’ of the green is a must!). All proceeds benefit UCP client services for more than 1,000 North Alabama families affected by a disability.

Grand Opening of The Whimsical and Woolly Woods

By popular demand, Burritt on the Mountain is bringing back our very first original, educational, summer game and adding a colorful twist. Children 3-11 will be thrilled to visit the Whimsical & Woolly Woods and see the colorful, woolly creations that will be covering the park. Included in admission.

The 39th Annual Ellen McAnelly Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade presented by the Irish Society of North Alabama and sponsored by Straight to Ale will be held in downtown Huntsville, starting at Holmes Avenue.

Two guided tours of Maple Hill Cemetery, led by Jacquelyn Procter Reeves, author of Wicked North Alabama, and Robert Reeves of WHNT. Tours start at the office by the cemeteryʼs front gate.

YAM 2016: Exhibition for Youth Art Month
@ Huntsville Museum of Art, Sunday 3/13, 1 pm opening reception
Artwork from North Alabama K-12 students organized in observance of Youth Art Month. Accompanied by the annual Visual Arts Achievement Exhibition, which presents the blue ribbon finalist artworks of middle and high school students in Alabama’s 5th Congressional District. FREE Madison St. Patrick’s Day Family Parade and Pet Walk
@ Discovery Middle School, Sunday 3/6, 1 – 5 pm
Parade and Pet Walk will start at Discovery Middle School and cover 3 miles. Participation is open to the public and Irish dress is encouraged. Non-perishable food items will be collected to support the St. Vincent de Paul food bank and The Madison Animal Rescue Foundation.
