
Spring Break is right around the corner and temperatures are slowly rising (yay!).
Here is a list of fun activities for all ages and lifestyles to do in the Rocket City. Huntsville is ever expanding, and 2021 guarantees new adventures for the whole family.

Half – Day Art Camp
Huntsville Museum of Art
March 29 – April 2, 2021
Ages 5 – 13 (K – 6th grade)
All children will love this camp, as they travel through the museum learning about the different art styles. Plus, they will get the opportunity to create their own art! They will discover and practice such techniques as drawing, painting, and collage and printmaking. Students will need to bring their own snack and lunch (no nuts products, please!). Spring Scavenger Hunt
Burritt on the Mountain

4 – 7 years of age
A fun filled day at the Burritt museum, what more could you need to kick off spring break? Children and parents will be on the hunt for clues of spring all around the park, while also being able to enjoy the museum itself. Admission includes entrance to the museum for the day. Be sure to bring your lunch, walking shoes, and camera. It is going to be a fun – filled day!

Bring your Easter basket to hunt for eggs and special treats, pan for gems, and make Easter crafts! Also, bring your lunch and don’t forget to take a lot of pictures!
Green Thumbs Spring Break Camp
Huntsville Botanical Garden
March 15 – 19 and March 29 – April 2
9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Ages 5 – 13 (K – 6th grade)
It is never too early to have a love for plants! Children are invited to join the HSV Botanical Garden to engage in a fun camp learning all about soil, plants, habitats, and ecosystems. The Botanica House Plant Shop will be hosting virtual classes to help us prepare our plant babies for the upcoming spring season! The cost of admission is $10.
