September is Huntsville Music Month, and one of the celebrations putting local talent front and center is Huntsville Women in Music Week.
Returning for its eighth year, Women in Music Week takes place September 11 – 20, 2026, with performances and events happening at venues across Huntsville. The annual celebration showcases more than 50 women working in the music industry and gives audiences a chance to experience the talent that continues to shape Huntsville’s growing music scene.

Sippy + MollyWater at Rocket City Honky Tonk
Friday, September 11 | Doors 6:30 PM | Show 8 PM
Kick off Women in Music Week with Sippy, joined by special guest MollyWater, for a takeover at Rocket City Honky Tonk.
Early Bird and Tier One tickets are already sold out, with Tier Two general admission tickets available for $20. This event is 21+.
Girl Jam at Stovehouse
Saturday, September 12 | 5:30–10 PM
Head to the Electric Belle at Stovehouse for Girl Jam, a free, all-ages Women in Music Week show featuring music from The Shoals.
The evening’s lineup includes Taylor Grace, Lucir Tiger, Kristen Shores, Ghost River Revival and Melissa DeOrazio.
Sofa Serenade with Angie B. & Friends
Saturday, September 12 | Doors 7:30 PM | Show 8:30 PM
The Note Jazz Lounge hosts a special birthday edition of Sofa Serenade with Angie B. & Friends. Expect an intimate evening centered around jazz, soul and live music as Angie B. celebrates her birthday month.
The Note Jazz Lounge is located at 200 Oakwood Ave. NE, Unit A.
Women in Music Week: Hip Hop Edition
Wednesday, September 16 | 7–10 PM
Women in Music Week heads to Tip Top Café for a free night celebrating women in Huntsville’s hip-hop scene.
The lineup features DJ Lisha, Shy, Lady Lace, Rosy Profane, A Jené, Queen Keiani and G Thee Goddess. Food and drinks will also be available.
Amy McCarley at Lowe Mill
Wednesday, September 16 | 6:30 PM
The Huntsville Traditional Music Association’s Coffeehouse Series celebrates Women in Music Week with Huntsville singer-songwriter Amy McCarley, joined by Chris Simmons and David Allgood on guitar and bass.
Singer-songwriter Molena will open the evening. The show takes place in Studio 1038 at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, with doors opening at 6:15 PM. General admission is $20 and HTMA members are $15.
