1892 Eat…my apologies, 1892 East describes their vision as being “defined by the food-farmer-neighbor interactions to provide the highest quality local, organic and vegetarian foods.”
This is all perfectly true but so is the fact that when I’m having a particularly rough day and I’m in need of some comfort food, nothing sets me quite as right as an 1892 Burger.
Grille 29
Sure, Grille 29 is the place you go for fancy dinners with clients, date night with your honey or family birthday celebrations, but it’s also the place I go to eat an entire fantastic dinner just to get to the dessert menu. Don’t you judge me! Have you been there during Girl Scout Cookies cheesecake season for goodness sake?!
5 A’s Restaurant
Okay, this one’s a little more Huntsville-adjacent but totally worth the trip out Highway 53 to Harvest. This family-owned Mediterranean and Persian roadside paradise is truly a personal favorite.
Live on the wild side! Trade in your burger for some Baba Ghanouj; who needs fries when you’ve got falafel? Their gyro is my hero so, go give these guys a try!

It seems completely unfair so much delicious should be represented by these few digits and I’ve only just realized they’ve been taunting us with this fact the entire time.
- 8, for instance. The pizza at Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza was so good, I 8 the whole thing.
- 0, have you tried those crazy-good Bacon Wrapped Pretzel Bites at Ales’ Kitchen?
- 5. Yes, theRock n Roll Sushi Janis Joplin Roll was fantastic! Can I have 5 more pieces, please.
I tell you, subliminal messaging at it’s best. Simply diabolical!
