Who doesn’t love brunch? It can be a total splurge, a tradition, or just a fun way to eat out on Sunday’s. We take Brunch seriously around here and it’s no surprise that our Brunch Guide is so popular. Here is our updated 2015 version.

Sandwich Farm

Specialties:

  • Benedicts – Veggie, Seafood & Pork
  • The King with 6 oz. Bistro Steak, Chimichurri Sauce & Eggs
  • King Stack – Pancakes with Peanut Butter, Bacon & Bananas
  • Biscuits & Gravy Sandwich Farm

Drinks: Fresh Juice

Kids: Plenty on the menu that kids will enjoy, especially chocolate chip pancakes!

Our hint: The Benedicts and other items are Sunday only, but they serve a full breakfast all week long until 3 pm.

  • Cinnamon Roll appetizers
  • Traditional Irish Breakfast
  • The Original Public House Benedict with Grilled Salt and Pepper Steak, Shrimp Etouffee, or Grilled Tomato and Bacon
  • Corned Beef Hash
  • Bangers and Crispy Potato Pancakes TOPH Irish Breakfast

Drinks:

  • Traditional Mimosa
  • Bloody Mary

Kids: Kids menu includes eggs, bacon and fresh fruit.

Our hint: In the mood for brunch after traditional brunch hours?  TOPH serves brunch until 8pm on Sundays!

Shea’s Express

Saturdays; 9 am – 2 pm

Specialties:

  • Salmon Benedict Seared with Cream Cheese & Capers
  • Eggs Sardou Sautéed Baby Spinach, Artichoke Bottom
  • Ode to Ireland Corned Beef
  • Fresh Blueberry Pancakes
  • Huevos Rancheros

Drinks:

  • Traditional and Apple Mimosa’s
  • Irish Coffee
  • Fuzzy Navel, Bellini’s and more

Kids: Shea’s had no problems with making slight changes to their existing menu to accommodate our kids including subbing scrambled eggs and more.

Our hint: Need plans for Saturday morning? Join Shea’s express for their Jazz Brunch from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm.

Mezza Luna

Kids: The brunch buffet is super kid friendly. They also offer pizza, pasta, & assorted breakfast kid-friendly items (French toast sticks, etc.) Five and Under eat for free!

Our hint: Fill up on the brunch buffet after church, then order a pizza to go for dinner.

Our hint: We love the 29¢ mimosa’s served from 10 – 11 am!

  • Crepes including the favorite Nutella Crepe, hazelnut spread with strawberries or bananas

Kids: All food is cooked to order, so The Eaves will cater to your child’s special needs.

Our hint: The Eaves is popular for brunch, so reservations are a must!

  • Southern Style Eggs Benedict
  • Brioche French Toast
  • Omelet’s including Cheddar Lovers or Market Veggie brunch in huntsville at below the radar

  • Below the Radar’s “World Famous” Bloody Mary Bar
  • Boss Hog Mimosa

Kids: BTR’s kids menu includes kids favorites including cheesy eggs, chocolate chip pancakes, chicken fingers and more.

Our hint:  Enjoy local, live acoustic music while you brunch from 11 am – 2 pm.  Also, BTR’s Famous Bloody Mary bar is stacked!

Humphrey’s Bar & Grill

Specialties:

  • The Big Breakfast Burrito (versions include BLT, Beef and Blue and Veg Out)

  • Country Ham Plate with Red Eye Gravy

Kids: There is only one menu, but kids will love the Breakfast Sammie (egg any style with choice of meat on toasted bun) or Chocolate chip pancakes.

Our hint:  Visit between 11:30 am – 1:30 pm to hear Winslow Davis play his electronic violin. Great background music for a fun Brunch.

The Brickhouse Sports Cafe

Kids: There is only one menu, but items are kid-friendly. We have a feeling kids will really like the Cinnamon Streusel French Toast.

Our hint:  Brunch for The Brickhouse just started this month, so it’s very new. Give the Skillet a try with a “build your own” Bloody Mary.

Cork & Crust Pizzeria + Wine Bar

Saturday & Sunday; 11 am – 2 pm cork and crust brunch

Specialties:

  • Southern Italian Chicken & Waffle
  • Short Rib Eggs Benedict

Kids: There is only one menu, but we are certain kids would love the build-your-own pizza option.

Our hint:  The Shout Ribs Eggs Benedict comes with a fried green tomato! Explore the sides, which include potato hash, and grits.

Our hint:  Select Sunday’s include a Jazz Brunch featuring lovely live music.

Kids: There is only one menu so we recommend kids try french toast.

Our hint: Spend nice weather on the patio!

West End Grill

  • Hole in One (Sausage, Bacon, Fried Egg, Cheese between 2 halves of Glazed Doughnut)

Kids: There is only one menu so we recommend kids try the breakfast platter.

Our hint: If you’ve not visited West End Grill for a while, Brunch is a great time to give them a try again.
