Etta’s Tavern in Five Points
One of South Huntsville’s most beloved brunch destinations is growing its footprint. Good Company Cafe has officially announced plans to open a second location in Five Points, alongside an entirely new dinner concept, Etta’s Tavern. This will be a new restaurant concept that will occupy the former 1892 East space.
Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Angela and John Lindbeck, Good Company has built a loyal following since opening in 2018. Now, the duo is bringing their signature approach to hospitality and thoughtfully crafted menus to new corners of the city.

The second Good Company Cafe will serve as a sister location to the original South Parkway restaurant, offering the same approachable, creative brunch menu that has become a local favorite. Guests can expect familiar staples like egg sandwiches, specialty lattes, and house-made favorites in a new Five Points setting.
“It’s going to be a Southern, nostalgic menu,” said co-owner Angela Lindbeck. “Not the exact same dishes, but the kind of food that brings back a feeling and creates a sense of comfort.”
Known for their strong partnership and shared vision, the Lindbecks credit their success to years of experience and a deep attention to detail in every aspect of their business.
“The thought and care we put into our menus, our spaces, and the overall experience really comes from working so closely together,” Angela said. “That connection shapes everything we do.”
Construction on both projects is set to begin February 2, with plans to open both locations in the spring.
Since its founding, Good Company Cafe has played a key role in elevating South Huntsville’s dining scene, offering a space that feels both inviting and intentional. With this expansion, the Lindbecks aim to bring that same sense of community and quality to even more guests across Huntsville.
